Wildlife and Pest Prevention — Keep Animals Out Before They Get In

Exclusion beats extermination — sealing the entry point stops the next animal, not just the one already inside. We handle squirrels in attic and soffit voids, dead animal removal, rodents, and the termite and bed bug pressure that comes with NYC's older, shared-wall housing stock, across Jackson Heights' dense garden-apartment rows and the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan beyond it.

What we treat

Prevention-First Pest and Wildlife Control

A trapped or treated pest that gets back in through the same gap next season isn't solved. We inspect for the entry point first — attic and soffit gaps for squirrels, foundation cracks for rodents, wood-to-soil contact for termites — then seal it, so the fix holds. Serving Jackson Heights, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.

Wildlife & Squirrel Removal

Wildlife & Squirrel Removal

We humanely remove squirrels, raccoons and other wildlife from attics, walls and roofs, then seal the entry points so animals can't get back in.

Wildlife Exclusion & Animal-Proofing

Wildlife Exclusion & Animal-Proofing

We harden a building against wildlife entry — capping chimneys, screening vents, sealing roofline and fascia gaps and closing foundation openings — as a standalone preventative service, not just the sealing step tacked onto a single removal job.

Squirrel Removal

Squirrel Removal

We remove squirrels from attics and roof voids using a one-way exclusion door mounted over the entry hole, so the squirrel can leave but can't get back in, then permanently seal every gap it used or could use.

Dead Animal Removal

Dead Animal Removal

We locate and remove animals that have died inside a wall, attic or crawlspace, then sanitise and deodorise the area — this is a separate call-out from live wildlife removal because finding and reaching a carcass is its own job.

Rat & Mouse Control

Rat & Mouse Control

We control rats and mice by sealing the entry points they use to get in, removing the active population with targeted trapping and baiting, and proofing your property so they can't return.

Rodent Proofing

Rodent Proofing

Rodent proofing is the preventative work that keeps rats and mice out before they get in — sealing every gap a rodent could use with steel mesh, copper mesh and proper door sweeps, done as a standalone service for a property that hasn't had an active infestation but wants to stay that way.

We inspect for termites, provide the documented WDI reports lenders require for real-estate closings, and treat active infestations with liquid barriers and baiting systems.

★★★★★
“I usually don’t write reviews, but this one’s well deserved. I’ve been living in my Manhattan apartment for over six years, and never once had an issue — until suddenly, I started waking up with strange bites. I spotted signs of bed bugs and honestly went into panic mode. I called them around 7:30 AM, someone answered right away, asked clear questions, and scheduled an inspection for that same afternoon. The technician (his name was Mike) was calm, professional, and extremely thorough. He explained the lifecycle of the bugs, the treatment plan, and what I needed to prep. The team showed up on time, full gear, respectful, and treated the apartment room by room. Within 48 hours, the bites stopped. They even offered a second visit two weeks later just to be sure — no charge. Highly, highly recommended.”

“When a mouse exterminator leaves your home rodent-free and smelling fresh — you drop five stars without blinking. So trust me, they are really worth it. The change is massive.”

Questions, answered

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a squirrel in my attic — can you just trap and release it?

Trapping is legal for squirrels in NYC but relocation requires a DEC permit specifying the destination — releasing an animal on a neighbouring property or 'in the park' is illegal, which is why most operators use exclusion instead. We identify every entry point, confirm there are no pups first (sealing a mother out with pups inside forces her to chew a new hole, often through a structural element), then install a one-way excluder door over the primary entry and permanently seal it once the attic is confirmed clear, typically 5-7 days.

What about a raccoon — can you relocate it to a park?

No, and any company promising that isn't being straight with you. Under New York State law, a nuisance raccoon that's live-trapped cannot be relocated — it must be released on-site or euthanised, full stop. That's why exclusion (making the structure inhospitable and physically sealed) is almost always the right first call for raccoons, not trapping.

Do you handle bats?

Bat exclusion is legally restricted work — all native bat species are protected in New York, and there's a hard maternity-season ban on exclusion from 1 June to 15 August, because sealing adults out during that window strands flightless pups inside. If you have a suspected bat issue we'll inspect, document every entry point, and if it's inside the maternity window, the exclusion gets scheduled for after 15 August or before 1 June — not sooner, regardless of how badly you want it done.

Do you handle termites and bed bugs, not just wildlife?

Yes — 'and Pest Prevention' is the other half of the brand. We inspect for the eastern subterranean termite (the species established in the NY region) and provide documented reports, and we treat bed bug infestations that spread through shared walls in NYC's dense apartment stock.

What areas do you serve?

We cover Jackson Heights, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.

Why does exclusion cost more upfront than just trapping or spraying once?

Because it's the part that actually stops the problem from recurring. A single trap-and-remove or one bait treatment without sealing the entry point means the next squirrel, rat or termite colony finds the same gap. Exclusion work — hardware cloth, proper sealing materials, documented entry points — costs more the first time and less over the life of the property.
